Telemedicine with Doxy.me

An overview of our doxy.me integration so you can video/chat with your patients

 

TeleMed Integration (doxy.me)

You can set up virtual appointments with your patients through your practice management!

Simply insert the telemedicine link into the employee profile so you can then send the link in your confirmation emails/SMS or send them a reminder through the calendar!

To get started follow the steps below:

👍 STEP 1: Sign up for doxy.me

You must have a doxy.me account.

You can sign up (free) by going to doxy.me or clicking the TeleMed icon  when you book an appointment.

👍 STEP 2: Insert telemedicine link into doctor profile

After you have signed up with doxy.me, you can insert your telemedicine URL into your Employee Profile under the General tab.

Employee > Employee List > [Specific Employee] > Edit Selected Employee > General 

👍 STEP 3: Setting up your reminders

Send reminder emails through company settings in the Appt Reminder tab.

This will go out when you send confirmations through the calendar or treatment screen. Without this setup the telemedicine video link will not be sent.

Company Settings > Appt Reminder > Reminder Schedule and Content Options > Telemedicine Reminder

👍 STEP 4: Booking the tele-med appt

After you have inserted your telemedicine URL into the employee profile and setup your email, you can then book an appointment and check the telemedicine checkbox to indicate this will be a virtual appointment.

Note: The appointment will have a telemedicine icon to indicate client with video call appt:

 👍STEP 5: Send confirmations

You then can send confirmation emails and reminders with the telemedicine link.

a. Send confirmation through the calendar:

Right click the appointment, hover over the Confirmations Options dropdown, the new dropdown will pull up both Send Email Telemed Link and Send SMS Telemed Link.

b. Send confirmation link through the treatment screen:

From the treatment screen, you will see a telemedicine link icon next to the pencil icon at the top of the client's treatment screen.

You will see a popup from selecting the telemedicine video icon. You can choose how to send over the link to the client.

💻STEP 6: Starting the video/chat

Start the video call by clicking the Start Video Call button on the treatment screen.
